Dantoy Sugar Cane Gardening SET

Dantoy have launched a brand-new “I’m Green” line of bioplastic products, their bioplastic is made of at least 90% sugarcane, a sustainable raw material, and their bioplastic is 100% recyclable.

The manufacture of bioplastics reduces carbon emissions. The sugarcane is cultivated on controlled, pesticide-free plantations in central and southern Brazil. The sugarcane is harvested every 6 – 12 months. Bioplastic made of sugarcane is a 100% sustainable raw material.

The sugarcane used for Dantoy bioplastics grows in plantations in the southern and central regions of Brazil, more than 2,500 km from the Amazon region. The enlargement of areas for cultivating sugarcane is managed by “Sugarcane Agroecological Zoning”, formed by Brazil’s federal government. The harvested sugarcane is conveyed by train for further processing, which is more eco-friendly than being transported by lorries.

Critically Endangered Baby Socks

The super soft baby socks from Critically Endangered are helping to support some of the world’s most endangered baby animals in collaboration with World Wildlife Fund UK. Featuring a Giant Panda cub, a Tiger cub, Rhino calf and baby Orangutan.

A Tree from Treedom

I absolutely love this idea. Not only is it clutter-free but you are helping the environment too. Treedom is a tree planting business that plants trees in 17 different countries across the world, in partnership with smallholder farmers and NGOs.

Each individual tree is geolocated and photographed, with regular updates posted in a Diary. The trees can be gifted to friends, family members and loved ones with just a click – the perfect green gift for Christmas!

There are plenty of different trees with their meanings to opt from. I decided on a Mango for our family tree as it stands for happiness. Prices start at £18.90 over on their website.
