Christmas Trends from Wayfair
Over recent years I have often looked at Christmas decorations and how I might dress our house. Due to my focus being elsewhere – plus the fact that we haven’t actually spent a Christmas at home yet – I hadn’t really given it any further thought. However, this year is completely different. I can look at dressing our home with the latest Christmas trends as, firstly, Rex is much easier a year on and, secondly, we are at home this year! (Yippee!!).
When Wayfair offered me the chance to check out what styles they had to offer in the way of Christmas dressing, I decided to opt for the ‘White, Bright and Metallic’ theme and add a bit of sparkle to our bar area.

Our Conservatory Bar

Our conservatory has had a ‘bar’ of sorts ever since Grace gave Ross an optics set for Fathers Day a couple of years ago. It has a few glasses and drinks decanters and that is about it. It seems to have also become a dumping ground for our Softub chemicals! But, with Christmas on the horizon, we would rather it looked a little more inviting.
Christmas Trends from Wayfair
After looking through the Wayfair site, I am pleased to say that I came up with some real corkers. It takes a lot to impress Ross but he has shared a number of comments with me about how much he likes the products I chose.
So, here is what I went with for my theme:
Stack 12 Bottle Tabletop Wine Rack £11.99

We do have wine racks in the kitchen, but who can be bothered to walk all the way through there when we can have a bottle or 3 at our finger tips on this metal wine rack? It fits perfectly on the sideboard and holds more than enough to keep us going for a few days.
Nova 330ml Red Wine Glass £12.99 for 4

I cannot remember the last time we bought ourselves any new wine glasses – and the ones we do have are a bit mix and match. It is great to have a proper set to use and more especially when we have guests over. They are a great size and sit nicely in your hand.
Glitz Coaster £10.99 for 4

Not just for Christmas, but great all year round, these coasters add a bit of sparkle to the proceedings. I think they have to be one of my favourite items in what I have chosen here and they will certainly be used during Christmas dinner – and probably all future dinners too!
Glitter Table Runner £16.99

This table runner not only impressed me, but it also made a serious impression on Ross and Grace too! It really adds to the whole bar area – and we will also be using it on our dining table on Christmas day. Grace has told me that, if she could, she would wear it too!
Crystal Garland £16.99

The first finishing touch is this beautiful Christmas garland. Being white, it fits perfectly with the theme. It has plenty of branches and looks thick and full. It fits perfectly around our side board and, has hooks on either end to attach it firmly into place.
Pre-Lit Bridge Lamp £16.99

Secondly, is this gorgeous candle bridge. I have to admit that I have always wanted one of these as a Christmas decoration. Not only does it fit perfectly with the theme, it is one of the best designs I have seen. Add to that the fact that it runs on batteries, it means I can place it anywhere on the bar without a lead getting in the way!
I have to say that I feel that the pieces I have chosen will be used by our family for years to come. They look classy and stylish and are versatile enough to use in other areas of house as well as make our bar look extra special this Christmas.
