Great Gifts for Tween Girls
Grace is almost 12 now and is getting to an age where not only does she not have very much on her Christmas list but she is also extremely picky about what she gets! Not that I blame her, I have no doubt that I was exactly the same at that age.
What I have decided to do is try and find things which are either functional, fun or both! Some wonderful companies have given me some great ideas! Here are some great gifts for tween girls which might help you too.
Table of Contents
Sigg Miracle Alu Emoticon Water Bottle RRP £15
Definitely one which Grace will be able to take to school as well as out and about, this water bottle has a leakproof screw cap with protective cover and straw. Made in Switzerland by Sigg, is free from harmful substances such as BPA and phthalate. Made from reusable aluminium makes the bottle extremely light weight (129 g) and durable.
Ginger Fox Corks Game RRP £15
One of the things that we love to do with Grace is play a game, usually in the evening after dinner. We are always looking for something fun and easy to store. This is a great game to play with friends and contains 15 wooden corks 56 Corks game cards and is suitable for 3 to 14 players, recommended for 6 years and over. It is a fast and furious game of elimination, speed, thought, co-ordination, stealth and dastardly cunning and knowing us, it will certainly bring out our competitive side (Note to self to not bring out angry competitive!).
Gear Ball RRP £17.99
Grace loves a good puzzle as well as something to fidget with (see fidget spinners!) so this intricate and intriguing puzzle is right up her street. It is a handheld geometric puzzle and the aim of the game is very simple. All you need to do is get every one of the six ‘faces’ to become a solid colour (similar to other geometric puzzles of its type). You do this by rotating the sections, in all directions, manipulating the various gears until they create a kaleidoscope of colours. Then, all you have to do is put it back to its solid state. Much easier said that done!
Mystery Shimmeez 8″ RRP £12.99
Ever since I can remember, Grace has been collecting squishees! She also loves sequins. These Shimmeez have reversible sequins which will be fiddled with for hours on end (see above!). When their sequins flip the other way, they turn the Shimmeez a completely different colour, plus what is in the box is a mystery so you may receive an owl, a dog or even a narwhal!
Unicorn Mug RRP £11.99
Grace has been wearing glasses for a while now. I love this range that Fairy Specs have brought out celebrating anyone who wears specs (me included) and this Unicorn mug is perfect!
Squeezamals RRP £16.99
One of the biggest crazes in this house – or, should I say, in Grace’s room! – has been the slow rising, sweet scented squishies. These squeezamals are very big, very soft and smell amazing and are sure to be a big hit on Christmas Day! There are 4 to collect: Panda, Unicorn, Dog and Unicorn.
Misguided Babe Power Pom Pom Gift Set RRP £28
Grace has found the power of perfume and the smell of this one is perfect for someone her age. Not over-powering, it’s key fragrance notes include a vibrant splash of grapefruit zest and sour cherry, sharpened with crisp apple and pink pepper. This great gift set also includes a cute owl faux fur key ring together with the 80ml Eau De Parfum, housed in a luxury rose gold can.
Frenzy 205mm Recreational Scooter from Skates RRP £99.99
As Grace gets older, I find that she is up for a bit more adventure. She has started to play hockey and rugby so I have no doubt that she would be up for some stunt scootering. District Scooters provide the perfect vehicles to allow for this and their range are some of the most iconic out there. Of course, I could be wrong! Instead she might prefer this Frenzy 205mm Recreational Scooter which comes in teal and has an easy fold system and kick bar stand.
Ravello Small Recycled Leather Journal RRP £15.90 and Sheaffer 100 Gloss Black Brushed Chrome Ballpoint & Fountain Pen Set RRP £70.80 reduced to £31.99 both from Pen Heaven
I know many teenage girls like to keep a journal. I know I did at this age. This beautiful Ravello journal from Pen Heaven is the perfect size to carry around with you to record your thoughts. Made of recycled leather, it comes in 7 colours: red, mint, orange, chocolate, black, lime or pink. All of Pen Heaven’s journals are handmade in one workshop in Italy from only the finest Italian leather and other local materials. The pages are acid-free and bleed-resistant, excellently suited for any kind of ink or pencil lead. It comes with the added bonus of being able to emboss initials onto the cover.
Sheaffer is a name which I have long associated with pens. This set, also from Pen Heaven, is classy and beautiful and I have no doubt it will make a great present for any budding writer. The ballpoint has a twist action mechanism and writes in black ink. The fountain pen features a click cap and stainless steel nib and comes with 2 cartridges in black and blue. Presented in a gift box, there is also room for engraving.

Some lovely ideas here. My daughter would like perfume this year too. She hasn’t got any squishees, but it’s something she would like. She likes nice notebooks and pens too! Hope Grace has a lovely Christmas (and you do too!). x
Thank you so much Sarah 🙂 I hope you and your family have a great Christmas too xx
