Easy Storage Solutions from ADDIS
Last year we had the opportunity to clear out a lot of our unused items using the Clearabee service, however, with birthdays, Christmas and, of course, blog reviews, our house soon became full again! This time though, it has been with items we need and use rather than stuff that just sits there.
With this in mind, we needed some easy storage solutions and so, ADDIS came to our rescue. We were able to choose a few useful products from them to help out around the home. This is what we chose to help put our items away in dedicated places.
Table of Contents
5 Shelf Storage Unit

Something we slightly lack in this house are shelving units. The trouble with the large, wooden shelves are that they are heavy and cumbersome to move around. On top of that, they are not easy to keep clean.
The Addis 5 shelf storage unit is ideal for any type of storage. Whether it is for cleaning products or kids toys, the fact that it is easy to put together and take apart means it is easily transportable. Once you have done with using it in one space, you can move it quickly and simply to another location. On top of that, it is plastic which makes it easier to clean spilled products or dirty toddler hands!
Rattan Hamper
We have had a couple of different laundry basket styles, none of which have ever quite hit the mark. The ADDIS rattan hamper is not only easy on the eye but it is slim and designed to fit into any awkward bathroom space. Our bathroom isn’t huge and I certainly don’t want laundry baskets taking up most of the room. This one is great as it holds 60L but doesn’t stick out into the room. Plus, with a more secure lid, it is harder for Rex to get into!
Compost Caddy
This compost caddy comes complete with a removable inner bucket that can be washed in the dishwasher or by hand. It can hold up to 2.5L of waste and has a carry handle. We decided to order two of these. The first fits easily next to the kettle for instant access to dispose of tea bags and coffee grounds. The second is next to the dishwasher so that any leftovers can be scraped. It also means that the sink doesn’t get blocked up!
Over the door airer

As I mentioned above, our bathroom isn’t huge. We do have a mounted, heated towel rail but we find that it is never big enough for the 4 of us. This over the door foldable airer means that we have extra drying room. It saves on both floor space and means we don’t have to fix anything up on the wall.
The top section pulls out to provide access to all bars and it is also angled meaning that the wet laundry doesn’t touch other hanging items. For extra versatility, there is also a detachable drying net to lay delicate’s flat. The airer fits doors up to 4cm thick and can be secured to the door by using the hooks that are provided. If the door is not quite thick enough, there are sticky pads to extend it. Also, to stop any damage or banging on the door, you can stick pads to the rear of the frame. RRP £13.
