A Review of the Glam Goo Deluxe Slime Pack

Grace has followed many of the crazes over her 11 years on this planet. Moshi Monsters, Bratz dolls, Shopkins, Num Noms. We have seen them all. However, the craze that seems to have survived the longest so far is slime. Something that came completely out of the blue for me.

When the opportunity arose to review the Glam Goo Deluxe Slime Pack, I knew Grace would never let me live it down if I refused. So, when our pack arrived on the Tuesday, she counted down the days until the weekend when I let her open it.

About the Glam Goo Deluxe Slime Pack

The Glam Goo Deluxe Slime pack allows you to customise your own slimes and then carry them along with you using the fashionable bag provided with all the segments you need to carry up to 9 different slimes. There is also a ring with removable casing in which to place slime and the heart decoration on the front of the bag can also be removed to incorporate slime.

The Glam Goo is the large tub of clear slime which comes with your purchase, Also included are 3 different slime decorations; Cloud Crunch, Unicorn tears (my favourite) and Daydreams, two sparkle colours; Electric Blue and Pinky Promise, a scent; Violet Vibes and a mixing spoon. On top of that you get the bag, glitter included, and the ring, both wearable accessories.

Grace’s Thoughts

When I opened the packet I thought the Glam Goo Deluxe product looked very well designed. I felt it was such a good idea. I think that my friends would love it just as much as I do.

When I got to the slime. I found it a bit sticky but once I played with it, it was alright and less sticky. I loved all the glitters and I love the names for them too! The scent was amazing and the bag had so much space for all the slime I have been creating. I loved the colours, I thought their names were very creative. The bag was so useful as it had storage space for all the slime, plus, I love the front of it as it also had a small compartment on the front of the bag under the heart. The glitter inside the bag really adds to it too. I also liked it’s shape as it looks like a perfume bottle. I found the ring looked really cute.

I would definitely like more Glam Goo products in the future and I could just play with it for hours.

 

My Thoughts

I have to say that had I been an 11 year old girl involved in the slime craze, I would have been bugging my mum like crazy for one of these. I feel that the RRP of £29.99 is very fair considering the amount of slime you receive for your money as well as the fashion items and decoration. The fact that the bag acts as storage for the slime as well as fashion accessory is a great idea. Grace and I have come to blows a few times about the manner in which she stores her slimes and the fact that they have leaked!

It is an innovative idea to make slime even more fashionable than it was already. They are pitching this to the perfect audience who are already bought into a proven craze. Clever. I wish I had thought of it!
