Family Face Masks from Victoria Ann Studios

With us all venturing out more as a family, it was important for us all to have face masks. We had purchased a box of disposable masks off Amazon but we would like to be more eco-friendly and inject a bit more fun into what we wear. So, thanks to Victoria Ann Studios we are able to be a little more practical and show off more of our good sides!

With the fact that Victoria Ann also makes children’s masks we were able to get a great selection of Family Face masks and, with the fact that I am about to start up my Slimming World groups again, I wanted something a little more specialised.

Mask Quality

One of the things I was most impressed with was the quality. The face masks are all handmade from organic cotton and have a replaceable PM2.5 filter. Victoria does state that the print pattern varies on each mask so as not to waste the fabric.

The overall adult size is 20cm x 12cm and they are finished with an elastic strap which measures around 7cm when flat.

The filter is inserted to the mask prior to posting and they are all made in a controlled environment with no contact from other people. As an added extra, a noseclip to stop your glasses fogging up is also included.

Mask choices

There are plenty of patterns to choose from with a slightly more limited range for children – but still just as great.

Ross opted for a great unisex leopard print, whilst Grace received the rainbow unicorns mask. To prevent any fighting (!) and to help encourage Rex to wear a mask, he received the same design as Grace. We haven’t yet been able to encourage him to use it but we are working on it!

Grace was able to return to school with a mask that all her friends admired. It really is partly about image at the age of 13!

I received a mask with a difference. Decorated with beautiful pink flamingos, mine has a clear window for the mouth area. It was extremely timely. As I have a few members coming to my Slimming World group who will be hard of hearing, it was important to give them the opportunity to lip-read. With this mask, they can!

Mask Care

It is advisable to remove the filter before washing. Each mask can be machine-washed at 60 degrees. Each filter lasts 1-2 weeks and the mask has 3 layers of cotton for extra protection.

final Thoughts

It is easy to see why Victoria has had some rave reviews over on Etsy. Her work is thoughtful and beautiful. There was a handmade lavender soap included in our parcel which meant the masks smelt beautiful when they reached us. They are well made and wash well too. On top of that, they are reasonably priced, with the some of the funds from specific purchases going to charity.

Totally recommended!
