IVF Support for Egg Donation Patients
Back in 2015, when we decided to proceed with IVF donor egg treatment, we didn’t really know where to look. We found that there was a distinct lack of support for IVF egg donor patients.
We attended the Fertility Show in London in order to locate the right clinic for us – or, so we thought at the time. Unfortunately our first attempt was not a good experience but we certainly learned a lot from it.
Thankfully, Fertility Road Magazine and IVF Spain came to our rescue but I often wonder about other couples going through a similar experience with regards to and how they might be coping. A resource has come to my attention which is too late for us, but may very well help others.

The information on EggDonationFriends site is impressive to say the least. Amongst many other things, they have reports for IVF clinics all over the world, ranking them in things like success rates, costs and treatment times as well as an overall rank.
I think that the most useful resource, however, are their free #IVFWebinars.
#IVFWebinars Support
All of the IVF Webinars which EggDonationFriends provide are not only free, but packed with medical advice. Each presentation is hosted by eggdonationfriends.com in cooperation with top IVF experts – mainly from Europe and the Countries that most UK patients will look to when trying to make a decision if going abroad for their treatment.
These webinars are geared towards patients who don’t understand how the procedures work and would like to know more before booking a consultation – which they would have to pay for. These webinars are a great stop gap for people who need further knowledge before committing to any type of payment.
Each webinar is centred around just one topic and contains an expert’s presentation and a Questions & Answers session at the end.
The entire webinar content is then published on the EggDonationFriends website in separate blog posts. You can watch all webinar recordings and read transcriptions of all Questions & Answers sessions for free.
Which IVF Subjects do the Webinars Cover?
There are a whole multitude of subjects covered in the IVF Webinars. Things like the IVF process, embryo implantation, embryo quality, embryo transfer, low ovarian reserves, older mums, PGS/PGD, miscarriages, IVF attempt failures, gender selections and much more.

The latest webinar on the EggDonationFriends site is IVF with Donor Eggs and PGS diagnostics – success rates, costs vs. outcome & time frame. This involves IVF treatment with donor eggs with PGS and discusses the correlation between the cost of the treatment, the outcome, the success rates, and time frame.
You are invited to register for the webinar if you are interested in taking part. If you do get involved, you are able to ask the expert questions which they will respond to during the webinar.
Should you miss the live recording, you can easily find these under IVF Webinars on the EggDonationFriends site or on their YouTube channel. Not only will you be able to access the video itself, but you will be able to see all of the attendees questions together with the answers the expert has given. It really is extremely helpful.

My Thoughts
I cannot tell you how great I think this resource is. IVF treatment used to bring up such a tangled web of questions for me. Some of which would come up in the small hours of the morning. I would scour the internet looking for answers. Now though, looking at the EggDonationFriends site, I can see that many of them would have been answered.
Having this resource at a potential patient’s finger tips will put a lot of minds at ease. Without any financial outlay into the costly procedure of treatment, there is an amazing IVF support resource from this fantastic website.
