The Disney Plush Classic Range from Siso Toys

Disney is a HUGE deal in our house right now. With the introduction of Disney + as part of my birthday present back in May, Rex has discovered all things Disney, with the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse being top of his list.

Lockdown has given us all the opportunity to discover new things and that includes films from my childhood. One of the things I have shown him is the wonderful ‘Dumbo’ and we have watched The Lion King on numerous occasions over the past year. These are amongst many others in the Disney classics catalogue.

Siso Toys

Siso have introduced their beautiful range of Classic Disney soft toys and their collections features many of the older, well known films including Bambi, 101 Dalmations, The Aristocats, Lady & The Tramp and, of course, Dumbo and The Lion King.

Available in two sizes (17cm & 35cm) with a third size (25cm) available later on in the year. As well as the Classic collection, there is a whole host of Disney plush to collect across a variety of ranges and sizes such as Frozen 2, Toy Story, Princess & Mickey & Minnie.

The love for Classic Disney Plush Toys

Introducing Simba from The Lion King to Rex was love at first sight. I asked Rex to close his eyes and then I placed Simba in front of him. As soon as he saw him, he picked him up, gave him a huge cuddle and said ‘hello fella, I love you’. He also asked his name – and has done on a few occasions – as Simba isn’t a name which sticks! He loves him nonetheless and, because he is a great size for small hands, he gets carried everywhere – and has even gone on an adventure with Rex and his dad to Center Parcs!

Dumbo was a bigger deal. I went through the same process as Simba with the introduction. The difference here was that Rex recognised him straight away from the film but, because he was much bigger, he was a little apprehensive to pick him up at first! He is still extremely loved though – the next morning, Ross and I went in to Rex’s room to find him still asleep with his arm around Dumbo. I wish I had managed to capture the moment!

With so many animals being brought to life over the years, I have absolutely no doubt that this collection from Siso will be extremely popular.

The quality is amazing. The toys are soft and extremely cuddly and on top of that, the price is fantastic for what you get with the 35cm at a RRP of £19.99 and the 17cm at £9.99. Available in store only at Tesco.
