Barnys Little Winter Adventures: A Half Term Jaunt
When Grace and I got invited to London to a blogger event last week, not only did it give us the opportunity to meet up with our good blogger friends Cathie and Lucas, it also meant that we had quite a long journey so we needed to ensure we had some snacks to keep us going. Cue the great new flavours from the cakes otherwise known as Barny.
Grace and I are very familiar with the fabulous chocolate flavours (mmm…chocolate!) but we hadn’t tried the new apple or strawberry versions and were rather looking forward to them – but not without allowing the Apple and Strawberry Explorer Barnys a little adventure first.
First they got a trip on the train:
Then it was on to the tube:
Apple and Strawberry were rather excited to meet a Knight in Shining Armour:
Mum ate a barbecued bamboo worm:
but decided that the Barny’s were much more tasty!
The Barnys then went for a forage in the jungle and met Sid the Snake:
Apple and Strawberry Explorer Barnys loved the jungle so much they travelled over to the Rainforest Cafe with Mum, Grace and their friends, Cathie and Lucas for a lovely lunch:
They travelled back on the train with Mum and Grace, never to be seen again!
Try the great new Apple and Strawberry flavours from Barny, a great snack on the go for any explorer!
This post is an entry for BritMums ‘Winter Little Adventures Challenge’ sponsored by Barny, individually wrapped bear-shaped sponges with a hidden filling. Find out more about Barny here.
Disclosure: We were sent two packs of the new flavours from Barny to sample. Please note that all words and opinions expressed in this post are our own and have not been influenced in any way.
