An Apprehensive Meerkat

When Grace met the meerkats recently, there was a loud noise as she was standing in their enclosure. They all bolted off and hid behind and inside the rocks. After around 5 minutes, slowly, apprehensively, they all started to emerge again and I captured this cute little lady checking the coast was clear.

  3. Beautifully #MyCapturedMoment! I love meerkats. There are some at our local zoo that we visit quite frequently. I could happily stand at their enclosure for hours and watch these little beauties.

  10. Meerkats are such wonderfully expressive creatures, aren’t they? Whenever we go down to Marwell Zoo, the meerkat enclosure is always the kids’ favourite place to stop.
