Review: BABY Born Soft Touch Brother with Bath
*Gifted Products*
Grace absolutely loved her dolls when she was small. The Baby Born range has always been popular with her. So, when I was offered the Baby Born Soft Touch Brother and Bath set for Rex, how could I refuse?!

I had never considered a doll for him before. Although, seeing how well he is interacting with them at nursery – plus, the fact that his imaginary play is coming along leaps and bounds – I knew it would be a great idea.

Baby Born Soft Touch Brother

The Baby Born Soft Touch Brother has a vinyl body and movable knees. This means that he can stand on his own – much to Rex’s delight! He can also drink, cry and go in the bath. Perfect for the set we received.

I was also impressed to see that he has a full head of hair and, with the fact that a comb is included, Rex has spent hours ‘brushing his hair’.
He comes with a really lovely printed t-shirt, denim jeans, blue cap and blue and white trainers. The shoes are a particular favourite of Rex and he has attempted to share these with his doll by trying to place them on his own feet!

Including the comb, the doll comes with 4 accessories in total and also includes a kids beaker and bracelet. He stands at 43cm.
Baby Born Interactive Bathtub with Shower

The BABY born Bathtub was a lovely addition to our package. It features a shower function, and has unique lights in the bottom of the tub with bath time sound effects and a little song which Rex takes great delight in dancing to.

Simply fill the bathtub up to about halfway with water then press the silver button to make the shower work and the sound effects play. Also included is a little bath time rubber duck.

Baby Born Bath Robe

Rex is very familiar with his dressing gown so, the fact that his doll has one too is great for him. The design has been thoughtfully put together and comes in a stylish waffle pique fabric decorated with a bear and a

My Thoughts
I stand corrected. I thought Rex would not be that interested in having a doll but he truly loves him. He is very gentle and caring and, because bath time is one of his favourite times of the day, he is now able to re-enact this during his imaginary play time.
We have taken the doll up to the bathroom each evening and, before Rex has his bath, Ben (the name Rex has given his doll), has his turn.
Rex thinks that the shower is the best thing EVER and he has spent ages pushing the button over and over again to give Ben his shower.

Dolls have come on in leaps and bounds over the years and this set from BABY Born is truly lovely.
