Review: Sandringham Boots from Hotter Shoes

As each Autumn approaches, my footwear starts to change to suit the season. As a result, I always shop women’s range of boots from Hotter Shoes.
They have never failed to come up trumps in the fashion stakes for me. They do extremely well at combining practicality with fashion and I love that they also offer each style in a great variation of colours, each one complimenting at least 4 outfits in my wardrobe.

This year’s style
With my new found confidence in clothes, I knew I wanted some bright autumnal colours in my wardrobe. With this in mind, I didn’t want to go for black. This was the colour I chose last year from Hotter Shoes and they were perfect for what I had chosen to wear from Autumn, right through Winter and beyond.
As there is a subtle strain of Western-style leading the way, I knew I wanted to opt for a long boot again but needed something that would suit skirts and jeans alike.
The Sandringham Boots
As soon as I saw the Sandringham Boots, I knew they were the ones! The hardest part was choosing the colour. Black was too dark, tan was too light, the maroon were lovely but, to make sure that they went with my whole wardrobe, it had to be the chocolate ones.
The boots are Nubuck suede and the design is really flattering to your leg. I love the quilted rear panel which also has a clever stretch insert to mould to the shape of your legs. This is combined with more extra flex to the inside zip. The raised front panel and ankle buckle decoration finish the design nicely.
Wearing them out and about
I have worn my boots on a number of occasions so far and have paired them with a long brown skirt as well as my jeans. This weekend I decided to wear them to our local pumpkin patch and, whilst it was a little muddy, I made sure to use suede protector and will be using a suede brush to remove the dried mud.
Final Thoughts
Once again, Hotter Shoes have come up trumps with a fantastic design. The fact that I wear their slippers around the house and keep coming back to their boots year in, year out, speaks volumes to me. Someone who is very fussy when it comes to footwear!
