5 Stationery Items Still Useful in the Digital Age

I have to say that my love for stationery will never wain. No matter how many laptops or PCs I go through, there is something about a stationery set that reminds me of my childhood and gets me a little bit excited. I still love looking at office stationery supplies and thought I would come up with a list of 5 items which I still use, despite owning all manner of technology!

Sharpies

Good old Sharpie pens. Where would we be without them? I regularly use a Sharpie when putting together parcels for anything I need to send out – mainly when someone wins something from me from eBay or when I am posting a niece or nephews birthday present.

A Letter Tray

As a blogger, not only do I receive products for review but I also receive product descriptions. It is important to have somewhere to place these – and not lose them – as they tend to have information and instructions on the review and how the client would like it structured. Having an in-tray means that I don’t lose track of what I am doing.

Notebook

Believe it or not, I do actually still speak to people on the phone. Sometimes we need to discuss a brief or job that I am due to carry out and I like a decent notebook to hand to make sure that I take notes and don’t miss something. It is also a great place to make lists of jobs that I am due to carry out.

Wall Planner

It pays to be organised – and so many times I have learned this the hard way! A wall planner helps me to see at a glance where I am in the grand scheme of things and keep tabs on what I have coming up which I need to remember.

Printer Paper

No matter how hard people have tried to go paperless, it hasn’t actually happened! I still regularly need to print things off for different people and different reasons. A decent printer and a lot of paper is needed on a regular basis!
