NaPoWriMo Day 14 – Making Memories

Day 14 of NaPoWriMo and, as it’s the weekend, I thought back to what I used to be doing in my younger years. Usually the weekend was the pub, someone’s house for a meal or a good party! This poem is with that in mind.

 

Making Memories

Crack open the can

Hear it hiss

An evening of drinking

Not one to miss

 

Let’s have some fun

With all of our might

A good old knees up

Be a late one tonight

 

Making memories

Full of laughter

Captured in our thoughts

Here ever after
