Slimming Easy Chinese Lemon Chicken Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 chicken breast, chopped into bite-sized pieces
  • 3 carrots cut into batons
  • 1 head of broccoli cut into smaller pieces
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 150 ml sugar free lemon squash
  • 200 ml chicken stock
  • 1 tsp chinese 5 spice
  • 1 tsp easy garlic
  • 1 tsp easy ginger
  • 1/4 tsp chilli flakes
  • 2 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Spray a large non-stick pan or wok with frylight, add the onions and soften, then add the chicken to brown.
  • Add the carrots and broccoli and cook for around 5 minutes until slightly soft.
  • Mix together the rest of the ingredients and add to the pan.
  • Bring to the boil and then turn down the heat to simmer. Cook for around 15 minutes or until the sauce has started to reduce to form a slightly sticky consistency.
  • Serve with instant egg noodles or rice.
