WIN the New ‘Dig In’ Table-Top Game from Drumond Park. E: 11th December 2016
Ross, Grace and I are always looking for new and interesting ways to brighten up our family time together. We love a good film or a game of Rock Band on the PS3 and one of our favourite past-times is most definitely a table-top game or two (although Monopoly seems to become a little overwrought in this house!). So, when Drumond Park sent us ‘Dig In’, one of their most recent releases we were looking forward to once again trying something new.
‘Dig In’ is a simple but effective game. It is easy to play, great fun and you get plenty of laughs out of it! It is suitable for all ages but mainly 8 years and over – and the instructions are one of the simplest set I have ever seen with a table-top game. All you need to do is dig into a bowl of colourful everyday objects in order to find the six pictured on your card.

The card has six objects pictured and all you need to do is find them in amongst 128 shapes in either red, blue, yellow or green! And it isn’t as easy as it looks – well, unless you are Grace who has great eyesight and seems to thrash us every single time we play it! The objects include an ice cream, dog, plane, rabbit, boat, scissors, starfish, teddy – and your card depicts each one in a particular colour. Once you’ve pushed the timer, you have 15 seconds to rummage through the contents of the bowl using both hands in order to find all of your objects. The fun doesn’t stop there though!
Once each player has had a turn with the 15 second timer, it is then all hands – or should I say hand?! – on deck. You have to use just one hand to find the rest of the pieces and everyone gets to do this at the same time. Let the scramble commence! The rounds continue until a player collects three cards and is declared the winner. And our verdict? We love it!

Dig In is simple to follow, easy to set up, quick to play and, on top of all that, it is fantastic fun!
New Dig In! (rrp £19.99, by Drumond Park Games) is a fabulously easy, but deceptively challenging and frantically fun game, suitable for all ages (ideally 8+) and you could win a copy of your very own. All you need to do is follow the instructions in the Gleam widget below. You can find the terms and conditions of this giveaway here: dig-in-giveaway-terms-and-conditions. Thank you to the people at Drumond Park for sending us a Box of Shocks in return for this review and giveaway.
