Wednesday Words - How We Love.

I have the honour of hosting Wednesday Words for Emma from Crazy With Twins this week. She is on holiday at Coombemill courtesy of the wonderful Fiona and thanks to a handful of some of the lovely bloggers who helped out with Shoulder to Shoulder to Day and made a donation.

I am going to share with you one of the most important songs in my life. It was number one in the first top 100 I ever shared with Ross. Music has always been a really important part of my life, I really don’t know what I would do without it and when I met Ross and realised how important it was to him too I was thrilled. I found out that he did a top 100 of his favourite songs on a regular basis and so I started too – something I wish I had done years ago! This song has also now reached his number one.

The song is ‘How We Love’ by Beth Nielsen Chapman. The song never fails to make me cry and one particular line gets me every time and reminds me so much of my Mum – they are the words ‘I will not forget your kindness when I needed it so much;. Appropriately it would’ve been my Grandma’s 100th Birthday today and she died at such a young age. I was only 7 when she died and my Mum was 31. I can remember how like my Mum she was.
