The Lovely ‘Lily Charmed’ – A Review

I was recently offered the chance to review some beautiful items of jewellery from the exquisite Lily Charmed.

If you are not familiar with Lily Charmed, the company was launched in 2011 by two cousins Marcus Pearce and Lucy Lee and they named the company after Marcus’ daughter, Lily. They create beautiful, personalised jewellery for relationships or special occasions and each piece is gift-boxed and wrapped providing a unique message card inside the box to hold the necklace or bracelet in place.  The card holds its own message to be treasured as much as the piece of jewellery itself.

They understand that ‘buying off the shelf’ doesn’t always have the same sentiment so, not only can you create your own bracelet or necklace with your choice of meaningful charm but you are also able to create your own message on the card that holds the jewellery. A really lovely touch to my mind.

The charms themselves are unique and can only be found on the Lily Charmed products. The charms are created in the UK and each one is sandblasted to give a luxurious matte finish which they class as their signature. Having received my own, I can certainly see what they mean. The necklaces and bracelets are created in sterling silver and they are also about to launch their gold range on Thursday 20th June, which I was lucky enough to be given the option of.

I was able to create both a necklace and a bracelet. Firstly, with the necklace I decided to choose a sterling silver chain and two charms. The first charm is a tree of life which I chose in gold and the second was the precious heart. The reason I chose these were for Ross and me and our family future. We are hoping with a new start comes new life as well as the life we already have.  The bracelet I again chose in sterling silver. As recommended by Lily Charmed, I chose just three charms, as otherwise the bracelet has the potential of looking overcrowded. I chose the scroll in silver to represent Ross, the writer, the butterfly in silver to represent me and my ability to transform my life and the angel wings in gold to represent Grace and any children we hope to go on to have.

One of the things that really impressed me with the Lily Charmed website was that you were able to create your own jewellery to see what the charms looked like on the chain you chose. You can search on numerous types of special occasion to see the recommended gift or charm to give and they offer free delivery for any orders over £30.

I am thrilled with my pieces. They have such meaning to me and I shall be wearing them on a regular basis.
