The Sea of Life. A Poem for #Prose4T and #The Prompt.
The Sea of Life
Where there was once nothing but storms
Mounting waves and angry winds
Where all who sailed in this ship
Had to hang on for dear life
Where there once was nothing but despair
All hope seemed lost
Where Davy Jones’s locker
Seemed too close at hand
We took control of this vessel
We weathered the storm
We rode the waves
We never gave up
Now we enjoy the tranquillity
We made it through
Became closer, stronger
Thanks to the sea of life

There is so much hope in this, and a sense of calm after a storm. Lovely piece Vicky. Thank you so much for sharing with #ThePrompt and for hosting #Prose4T x
Here’s to sailing on tranquil oceans and serene seas! xx #ThePrompt
My own personal understanding of this is – going through a storm makes you closer. And generally, it’s so true. Thanks for hosting #prose4t
Just lovely…my wish for you is calm seas my friend 🙂 xox
Sometimes we need the stormy waters to appreciate the tranquil calm that follows. Beautiful Vicky x #Prose4T
A real sense of togetherness in this one, lovely x
Making it through the turbulent times is so rewarding. A lovely journey is described here. I always have to remember when I’m in the eye of the storm that it’s part of it and I will look back one day and see the whole journey not just the crap part. #prose4t
Beautiful, you sound all the more stronger for it. X #prose4t
Aww, I hope the waters stay calm and the breeze keeps your sails filled.
