My tenth poem for National Poetry Writing Month is ‘A Passion for Photography’

 A Passion for Photography

I have a real passion
To some it may be obvious
It keeps me calm, it keeps me sane
To me it is just glorious

The images they can speak to you
They can jump right off the page
It’s a hobby so many can do
It doesn’t matter your age

The photos can last a lifetime
Remind you of where you have been
The memories don’t have to be in your head
They are there on the page to be seen

You can snap a beautiful landscape,
Animals in the wild or the zoo
Picture an exquisite portrait
They will all mean something to you

You can tinker around in photoshop
Editing and creating much more
This is most definitely a hobby I love
I will never find it a bore
