Olive It! Cookbook Giveaway – WIN 1 of 20 Copies
It is a well-known fact that olives are good for you. They have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits and much is made of their major agricultural importance in the Mediterranean region as the source of olive oil.
For me, one of the trickiest things about olives is knowing how to use them in a recipe. Well, the Olive It! recipe book has come to the rescue. Packed with marinades, tapenades, tapas tips and recipes, this book is definitely one to inspire you.
The book combines the traditional with a contemporary twist. The are over 40 recipes such as Green Olives with Figs, Orange and Bay Leaves to more adventurous combinations such as Black Olives with Wasabi, Ginger and Smoked Salmon, and Green Olives with Manchego, Chorizo and Melon. I believe that there is a dish for everyone in this book and it will solve the mystery for me of what to use them for!
Spanish chefs José Pizarro and Omar Allibhoy grew up surrounded by olive trees and immersed in the Mediterranean diet and culture, so their love of olives is deep-rooted and evident in these inspired olive dishes.
I am pleased to say that the lovely people at Olive It! have given me 20 copies of their recipe book to give away. So, if you get stuck then you will know what to do too!
