Vacuum cleaners really have evolved over the years. I can remember my brother having a slight obsession with them when he was small and, as a result, a good family gifted him their broken, very heavy, old one, to play with! Nowadays, you can get miniature copies of the grown-up versions!
One of the newest designs is not only cordless but they have the dirt chamber up high on the handle. I have to admit to being a bit sceptical about the effectiveness of this but, I am pleased to say, that it really does work!

They have found a gap in the market for cheaper appliances without compromising on quality. So, they are trying to fill that void. They are also ensuring that the after-sales service is not lost on their customers and are starting to find that they are gaining trust.

One of the most impressive features with the MooSoo cordless vacuum cleaner is that the 250W brushless motor has a maximum mode of 18KPa suction meaning that that dust, debris, hair, etc. can be picked up in less than a minute, as well as a normal mode of 7KPa for a less dirty room. This means you can choose between speeds – and both are quiet!
The floor brush nozzle has 4 front LED lights as well as a built-in independent motor meaning that it can pick up surface debris and deep dirt on both floors and carpets. It also goes into self-preservation mode and automatically stops working if the floor brush is entangled by hair or foreign objects, to minimize damage.
As well as the floor brush nozzle, there is also a round brush and long flat nozzle as well as a telescopic metal tube connector which is height adjustable.
Using a lithium-ion battery the MooSoo is a cordless, rechargeable vacuum cleaner. It runs for around 30 minutes on the slow speed and around 12 minutes on the faster speed. The battery is easily removable and you are able to purchase a second battery. Plus, it can be charged whether or not it is attached to main head.
The 4-stage fully-sealed cyclone filtration system can capture 99.99% of dust and bacteria. Cyclone technology allows the larger debris to directly fall into dust cup reducing filter clogging and ensuring the suction stays strong.
My Thoughts
I have to admit that I have not come across a cordless vacuum with adjustable speeds before and I really love this feature. It is such a great idea.
The vacuum itself is light, easy to manoeuvre and adjusts in such a straightforward way. It picks up really well and I love that the cyclone in the filter wraps the hair up in a smaller ball instead of spreading it all around the chamber! This makes it really easy to empty.
The price is really reasonable for a vacuum like this. The only thing I haven’t tested is their after-sales customer service (but that is one area I am happy not to have to!).

The regular retail price of the Moosoo 17U 4 in 1 Handheld Cordless Vacuum is £172.14 (a bit of an odd figure because it is normally shown in dollars) but the last time I looked, it was on sale at £85.34 and is available from their website.
