I tend to be a bit of a fusspot when it comes to footwear. I want something comfy which will keep my feet warm and dry. I also prefer something lightweight but hard-wearing – I can be a bit heavy footed! It takes me a while to break a pair of shoes in to then decide whether or not they are my go-to pair for certain situations.
Step up Loom! This is a waterproof pair of trainers which have a number of benefits. Read on to find out what!
Who are Loom?
When the team at Loom realised all those shoes in peoples wardrobes were causing damage to our planet through manufacturing they decided to find a better way.
They put all the best features of their favourite shoes into one, year-round, all-terrain piece of footwear which is waterproof, windproof, comfortable, athletic, safe, stylish, and more.
Following years of dreaming, planning, development, and testing, they released Loom, the most versatile eco-friendly footwear on the planet. They then proceeded to change the way footwear manufacturing practices were affecting the environment.
Loom shoes are not only designed for outdoor activities they are city-appropriate too. A pair of sneakers which are meant to tackle any setting – rain, mud, snow, slush – you name it.
What are the benefits of Loom?
This technology allows Loom’s shoes to be one of the most advanced in the market.
The shoes have been through rigorous testing and the perfect cushioning system was manufactured to help keep feet cosy.
No one loves sweaty feet so these trainers are made with materials which absorb and release the moisture.
The material contains antimicrobial properties that destroy bacteria in sweat which creates odour, keeping your feet fresh at all times.
Lightweight and Flexible Shoes
Maximise comfort and prevent your feet feeling heavy, even when walking miles or doing plenty of exercise!
Using some of the most eco-friendly farms in the world, these shoes are made with cruelty-free material.
Both Ross and I got sent a pair of Loom shoes and I thought it would be great to get feedback from both a male and female perspective.
Ross has told me that he really likes them. They are snug, a good comfortable fit yet still surprisingly easy to put on. They feel light to wear and great for both long distance walking as well as running and walking. On top of all this, they look good. No bells and whistles, just simple and stylish.
I have to agree with all of his points. Whilst I find mine a little tricky to put on – probably because I am too impatient to undo them properly – they are really comfy, very light and extremely easy to wear. The waterproof part is definitely an added bonus!
