Let It Be
Let It Be
We’re taking a familiar path
But we hope for a different arrival
Walking towards an open door
Which we hope doesn’t slam in our faces
Embarking on a journey
One that’s so familiar
The outcome is not for us to see
Faith will be our guide
What will this passage bring us?
What we’ve yearned for, for so long?
Or more questions and heartache?
Time will bring us the answers
What will be will be
This brings us no comfort
Yet something to hold on to
Burying ourselves into other distractions
Please, let it be.
