My third poem for National Poetry Writing Month is Laughter.

Laughter

Laughter rings out from my lounge
It makes me smile, a happy sound
Hearing them all having so much fun
With voices brighter than the sun

Our house has been one of tears and pain
It’s great to bring laughter back again
Joy and pleasure is good for the soul
No more sadness, reverse this black hole

Fun as a family and with friends
Helps us feel better and the heart it mends
Getting us all out of this mure
Love and laughter is the cure
