How Your Child Sees You – A MeMe
Earlier in the week Karen who blogs at themumstodolist inlcuded me and a couple of fellow bloggers in a meme where you ask your child to draw a picture of how they see you.
So, on Thursday morning, I told Grace that she had a very important job to do after school and explained to her what it was. She started asking me all sorts of questions. What colours should she use? How big should it be? Should I be wearing clothes? Should I be inside a house as she can now draw bricks really well?!
When we got home, this is what she did:
She wanted to make sure that I was happy with my red lipstick – which of course I was. She explained that she drew my mouth chatting! Surely not?! I also didn’t realise how curly my hair was! She said that my dress was pink to remind her of the big party I had on my 40th – this was 18 months ago now. She was also very proud of the fact that I was holding a poppy in my hand, a flower she is obssessed with at the moment. She is also very proud of her writing skills, but wasn’t happy with the way she wrote ‘Mum’ as it wasn’t joined up so she crossed it out and started again.
I am going to invite three more bloggers to join in:

love it!! you mean to say you don’t chatter?? lol love the writing and how she knew she wasnt happy and crossed it out, bless her.
It looks like she thinks she has a very happy mummy 🙂
Hahaha, I think we both know I do!! ;). Thank you xx
Lovely picture I shall post mine as todays blog later today, thank you for the invite.
