How to Makeover Your Garden

*Remunerated Post*

Garden is the best place to chill in during summers. You can call over your friends for a barbeque party in your garden or spend some quality time with your family. A lush green lawn is a great source of purified and fresh air where you can spend several hours without getting bored. But, regular care and maintenance is a must because plants need proper attention and should be fed well. However, if you want to a garden makeover then there are so many tips for it. Starting from a point zero here is how to makeover your garden.

  1. Analyze the Area

The first step in the makeover of a garden requires a close look at the site to determine what is already present there and what is not. Look for the trees, plants and shrubs and determine what should be kept and what should be removed. It may be a good idea to consult a tree specialist. Companies such as The Local Tree Expert, a Memphis garden and tree care expert, are there to help.

  1. Make a Wish List

After the analyzing of the site, make a list and write in it everything that you wish to see in your garden for example; what type of plants or flowers you want to add, sitting area, outdoor kitchen (if there is enough space), walkways, swings and simply everything that you want in your garden.

  1. Set a Flexible Budget

Another important thing to do before you officially begin with garden design is to set a flexible budget within which you will spend the money. Make sure you set a realistic budget with 20-25% of flexibility so if there are any hidden costs or unpleasant surprises, you will be able to cover it easily without getting stressed.

  1. Plant As Much As You Can

Garden landscaping is all about beautiful plants and colorful flowers. According to the space available, plant as much as you can. Don’t just stick to small shrubs and flowers, add at least two trees as well. Go for the plants that require less care so even if you get busy sometimes, your plants won’t get upset.

  1. Make a Cozy Sitting Area

To make the most of your time in the garden, add comfortable furniture and throw cozy cushions on it. Add a center table and place a table runner on it diagonally. A comfy sitting area in a lush green garden looks super welcoming where your family and guests would love to spend their time.

  1. Make a Beautiful Walkway

Walking on the grass to reach the sitting area or to view different areas of your garden can damage the grass. A beautiful walkway having small colorful plants all along its length at both sides will be perfect to make the garden look extremely charming.

  1. Outdoor Kitchen

To make barbeque parties more fun, built an outdoor kitchen in your garden but if there isn’t enough space then invest some money in barbeque grills and place them under a shade in your garden.

  1. Small Details

Don’t forget small details like children play area, funky paints on the garden walls/fence, bright lighting to illuminate the area at nighttime and other decorative items such as hanging lamps, cages, large flower vases etc.
