Essential Summer Clothing for Children

With summer on the horizon, I am on the look out for some new shorts and other essentials for this season for Rex.
I found it easy in the search for girl’s clothes when Grace was small. It is a little trickier this time around. Always one to accept a challenge, I am really enjoying looking out for eye-catching summer wear for Rex and noticed the Strawberry Children new arrivals.

Billybandit Boys Fluro Cream T-Shirt
This Billybandit Boys Fluro T-Shirt comes in cream and has fun images Of dog & human faces as well as blue cotton fringe detail. It is 100% cotton which will make it cooler in hot temperatures and I think is both fun and eye-catching. RRP £22, currently reduced to £15.40.
Billybandit Boys Fluro Orange Swim Shorts
The Billybandit Boys Fluro Orange Swim Shorts go perfectly with the t-shirt above. They have a tropical island print featuring animals and other images all over them with a ‘Supervised Swimming’ slogan In French. They are 100% polyester with mesh lining and a drawstring fastening at the waist and elasticated waistband. RRP is £33 but they are currently on offer at £23.10.
Absorba Baby Boys Stripe White Top & Shorts
This two piece shorts and t-shirt set is perfect for any little boy. The Absorba Stripe White Top & Shorts has a nautical print on the t-shirt with button fastening on the shoulder. The shorts have an all over print with elasticated waistband and button detail to the front. RRP is £33 but they are currently on offer at £23.10.
Kenzo Kids Boys Racing Blue Swim Shorts
These Kenzo Kids boys racing blue swimming shorts really stand out. They have their own iconic print with a racing badge which is Kenzo branded. They are 100% polyester with a mesh lining and come with a small clear badge, useful for any swimming sessions. RRP is £52 but they are currently on offer at £36.40.
Mini Melissa Khaki Dino Beach Slide
As soon as I saw these beach shoes, there was no doubt in my mind that Rex would absolutely love them. He knows that any pair of shoes (or boofs as he calls them!) means a trip out somewhere. They come in khaki or pink and are wipe clean with a Velcro fastening. RRP £56 but they are currently on offer at £39.20.
Catimini Mini Kid Boys Nomade Green T-Shirt & Shorts
If you are going to have dinosaur shoes then you will need a dino outfit to wear with them! This Catimini Mini Kid t-shirt and shorts set is perfect. There is a turquoise short-sleeved shirt with multi-coloured dinosaur images printed on the front. It comes with matching orange shorts which have a multicolour logo patch applique on the back pocket. They are 100% cotton. The t-shirt has popper fastenings on the left shoulder. The shorts have an elasticated waistband and pockets on the front and back.
