Colossus, Thorpe Park
Colossus, Thorpe Park
During our trip to Surrey this week, we picked up our annual passes from Thorpe Park as we are one of their ambassadors for the year. We were supposed to stay in the hotel for the night but, due to my pregnancy brain, there was a bit of a mix-up! We did get a chance for a quick trip to the park though and Colossus was Grace’s first ‘big’ rollercoaster. You probably can’t see them, but Ross and Grace are near the back somewhere.
If you are on Instagram, then I would love you to join my linky, InstaLinkLove. It is open until Sunday evening at 9.30pm (probably one of the easiest linkys out there!).

Amazing photo! I haven’t been there in ages! Great fun. Look forward to seeing you tomorrow #mysundayphoto
Oh blimey. Great photo; glad I’m not in it! 🙂 xox
Eeekkk!! I am such a wuss, I cant even bare to watch other people on roller coasters. #mysundayphoto
You can almost hear the roar of the thing! I have a love/hate relationship with rollercoasters, I always like them AFTER I have been on them though! 😀 #sundayphoto
I am in total agreement with you there on the after thing! x
Great photo but I really do not like rollercoasters, even looking at this makes me feel wobbly! #MySundayPhoto
Thanks! I am not so keen on them myself these days x
Great shot! Don’t know how you captured it but I really like the photo.
Thank you Carol. I used a very fast shutter speed and set up multi-shot on my camera 🙂
Look at their hair. Great photo. It looks fun, but terrifying at the same moment. #MySundayPhoto
It really does show the speed I think!
What a fantastic action shot! That looks like a great rollercoaster.
Thank you! 🙂
What a fab photo, so lucky to be able to capture such a clear shot! #MySundayPhoto
Thank you so much Toni 🙂
Ummmm I can never ride anything like that hehe. My body is not built for speed! Lovely capture Vic =) #mysundayphoto
Nor me anymore either! Thanks Merlinda 🙂
Great action shot, bet they had loads of fun it looks amazing! #MySundayPhoto
Thank you so much. Yes, they had a great time!
It’s not easy taking a photo of a rollercoaster! I hope Grace enjoyed it.
It wasn’t too tricky! Thanks Sarah – she did, and she didn’t!!
Brilliant capture, I’ve never been a big rollercoaster fan.
Thank you for linking up
Thanks Darren. Me neither!
Great shot! Hope you get to stay there soon. Love Thorpe Park!
Thanks Afra 🙂 I am sure we will!
Wow brilliant capture ? Perfect timing! #Mysundayphoto
Thank you 🙂
What an awesome action shot! #MySundayPhoto
Thank you 🙂
Wow, that is an amazing rollercoaster shot. Shame you didn’t get to stay the night but sure you will in your ambassadorial role at some point. #MySundayPhoto
Thank you John 🙂 I am sure we will.
Hi Victoria, just looking at your photo is making me queasy! A great shot!
xx
Me too! Thanks Debbie x
It’s been so long since I went to Thorpe Park. I used to love white knuckle rides so much but I’m much more a wander round the gardens type of girl now 🙂
I used to be the same too – and do exactly that now! x
Great picture, I’d always prefer to be the one taking photos rather than on the ride! #MySundayPhoto
Thank you. That is definitely me these days x
I’m not sure I would be brave enough to go on that! Hope Ross and Grace enjoyed it 🙂
I’m not anymore – plus I have an excuse! They had a great time x
Ah this is my idea of hell and my ids idea of heaven! Wonderful capture with hair flying and big smiles.
I kind of feel the same! Thanks Fiona 🙂
