NaPoWriMo Day 26 – The Blogger

I couldn’t let NaPoWriMo go by without writing about some of the most important people I am involved with – bloggers! I have many friends out there in Cyberspace and I am very grateful to them and their support. This one is for you!
The Blogger
Though I’ve never met you, I know that you are there
Though I’ve never touched you, I know that you care
I’ve never looked you in the eye
I’ve never seen you laugh or cry
But I’ve seen your photos, read your words
I’ve listened to your voice, you want to be heard
I’m a supporter of what you say
I will chat with you through the day
So, though I’ve not met the real-life her
I have a true friend, she is the blogger

Great article.
Wonderful as ever! I think blogging friendships are so important, people knock them for not being real but anyone who has experienced online friendship knows how wonderful it is
awww this is my fave poem ever! and one that although you wrote it, it could of come from out my head! x
I really enjoyed that poem 🙂 x
Yes, I loved this one too. I wondered what you were going to say ;o) I’m reading all your poems so keep it up! In particular love the one about the driving test. I remember mine clearly – rush hour traffic, got stuck in a jam for the majority of the 30 minutes, couldnt fail me as did nothing wrong – hurrah! 🙂 x
Aww, that’s so lovely Vicky. Like Chene it’s taken me a while to get to know fellow bloggers. Finding the time to tweet, blog, facebook, change a nappy, wipe a snotty nose and still have time to at least make your partner feel they are still worthy of some of your time can be difficult at times. But I have to say that I haven’t felt quite so supported as I do from my fellow bloggers or should I say friends xx
I’m only dipping in and out at the moment but would love to spend more time getting to know other bloggers. Where do you all find time for so many amazing posts, and social media and children and in some cases job?
Lovely post.
Ah, bless! What a lovely post. I feel exactly the same about the lovely ladies (and men) in the lovely blogging community! I found it a strange sort of relationship at first, but once you get used to it, it soon feels like it’s the most natural thing in the world. 🙂
