The Conception Diaries #32 – Alicante – The Wait!

Last week I said in my vlog that we may have caught a glimpse of our donor. Please note that IVF Spain follow the law very closely and it is physically impossible for patients and donors to see each other as they do not come to the same place.
Alicante – The Wait!
This vlog was recorded on Monday 31st October 2016 in the bedroom at our hotel in Alicante. This was a very difficult day for us for a number of reasons. We realised that our flight home was different to the time I told the clinic – so I was a bit concerned about transfer day! The following day was a Bank Holiday so we had to make sure that everything was resolved. I had a mild panic about medication I was about to run out of and the timings for the clinic for transfer day which, in turn, meant a bit of a communication breakdown with the clinic. Thankfully, our main contact, Maite, saved the day! I give you an update on our embryos and how they are progressing together with details of what is going to happen next including their progression over the next 24 hours and details for transfer day due to take place on Wednesday 2nd November. I explain about the Chinese herbs I have been prescribed for that day as well as plans for acupuncture. Finally, I explain how retail therapy saved the day!
