The Conception Diaries #21 Wednesday 23rd March 2016

Welcome to the twenty first episode in my series of vlogs, ‘The Conception Diaries’. If you would like to catch up on previous episodes then please visit my playlist on YouTube.

This is the hardest vlog I have recorded to date. It is the day after the result where we find out that we have not been successful with the embryo transfer. I am afraid I cry most of the way through it. I explain how we found out the result, how we are coping and what our plans are for the immediate future. It isn’t an easy one to watch but an important one to share. I am very pleased to say that I am now in a far better place than I was here.

Thank you for watching xx

  1. So frustrating having to wait so long for news on a thing like this! We’ve done IVF and being just a number to them was often the hardest part.
I totally understand the reactions. We drank champagne when our first IVF failed – I know it sounds silly but it was the most expensive wine we could find and we felt like sticking two fingers up to the whole thing.
I really hope this resolves in happy news sooner rather than later Vic x

    1. It really is. That champagne idea sounds like a good one to me – I will line that up just in case for next time 🙂 Thank you so much Helen x

  2. You’re right, it’s difficult to watch someone so lovely in so much pain and I wish I could hug you better! xx
