Quorn! – Day 5 of National Poetry Writing Month #NaPoWriMo

My fifth poem for National Poetry Writing Month is called Quorn! The reason for this is because today we attended an event at the Kids Cookery School in Acton, London. We found out lots of interesting things and Grace had a wonderful time cooking pizza and burgers – and making her own bread. She was very pleased.

 Quorn!

It is derived from a type of fungus
And put through a fermentation process
Designed to replicate the taste of meat
It comes packed in many ways to eat

Sustainable, nutritious and good for you
You can buy it in Australia and the USA too
Sausage rolls, burgers and hot dogs
We’re writing about it on our blogs

What we’ve learned, sharing information
With some recipe experimentation
So what is it I’m talking about?
Quorn is what you’ll hear me shout!
