A Photography Masterclass with Fujifilm and The Photography Show

On Thursday morning last week, I attended an influencers breakfast hosted by Fujifilm and The Photography Show. It was held at Spring at Somerset House. It was a lovely location, the food was beautifully presented and there was a masterclass in food photography presented by Chio Fernández. It was also lovely to catch up with Lucy and meet Lou.

Chio Photography

Chio is a Fujifilm photographer who was born and raised in Malaga, Spain. She discovered her interest in photography in her early twenties. She now has years of experience as a professional photographer in a variety of fields and regularly runs courses in food photography and styling.

Fujifilm Cameras

I put the stunning Fuji X-A5 through it’s paces and I have to say that I am thoroughly impressed with the quality. The camera itself was easy to pick up. I usually use manual mode on my DSLR so I was prepared for a little bit of work to understand the ins and outs of the Fuji. I needn’t have worried though, I found I picked it up pretty quickly. I have to admit that I am more than a little bit in love with it!

The Photography Show

The Photography Show takes place from 17th until 20th March at the NEC in Birmingham. It is an event for anyone who is passionate about photography and caters for all from complete beginners to seasoned pros. I am definitely going to make every effort to attend and it will probably be a nice little road trip for Rex and I. Fujifilm will be there so I shall look forward to chatting to them again as well as seeing what else is on offer.

In this post are just a few of the images I took on the day. I’d love to know which is your favourite.
