The Top Toys List for Christmas from Smyths Toys

The Top Toys List for Christmas from Smyths Toys

Once again it is that time of year. The time where parents are getting Christmas lists thrust at them (Grace has already started a note of hers in the back of her diary) by their older children once they have torn the toy catalogue apart and the younger ones want pretty much every toy they see on the adverts on the television.

Smyths Toys Superstores

One of the more prominent adverts is Smyths Toys Superstore. They have a huge range and have just revealed their top toys list for this Christmas. There are, of course, the usual classics that children are familiar with such as LEGO, NERF, Paw Patrol and PJ Masks, but there are also some brand new toys from some of the biggest brands.

Sinead Byrne, Joint Head of Marketing at Smyths Toys shared her thoughts on Smyths Toys Superstores top toys selection this year;

We are excited about our unique selection of this year’s hottest toys. In addition to some familiar classiscs including LEGO, NERF and Our Generation, it is great to see some new innovative products feature this year such as Cosmo from Anki and Tyler the Playful Tiger.

The Top Toys List

So what is on this years list? They are as follows:

1. FurReal Roarin’ Tyler the Playful Tiger
2. LEGO Ninjago Movie Destiny’s Bounty
3. PJ Masks Deluxe Talking Figure 4-Pack
4. Laser X
5. Paw Patrol Sea Patroller
6. Sky Viper Stunt Drone
7. Imaginext DC Super Friends Batbot Xtreme
8. Nerf Modulus Regulator
9. Luvabella Doll
10. Toilet Trouble Game
11. LOL Surprise Big Surprise
12. Bush Baby World Dream Tree and Bush Babies
13. Cozmo by Anki
14. Our Generation Healthy Paws Vet Clinic
15. Thomas & Friends Super Station

All of these fantastic toys feature in the new Smyths Toys catalogue and are available in all of their stores nationwide. If your children haven’t searched through it already, you can pick up your FREE copy of their catalogue in-store and browse their full range of products with over 300 pages of inspiration.

Graces Choice

If Grace could choose any toy off of the top toys list then I have no doubt that she would opt for number 4, Laser X. This is the ultimate high tech game of tag! You can play inside or out, day or night. The more you are blasted, the more your vest will gradually change colour. Once you have been hit ten times then it is game over! It comes complete with voice coach guidance, full colour lighting effects, stereo sound and music. You can find it over on the Smyths site currently at £44.99.

Rexs Choice

I have a feeling that Rex may be rather keen on trains as he gets older so the Thomas and Friends Super Station at number 15 on the list would be perfect. It includes 10 Iconic Sodor locations like Tidmouth Sheds, Brendam Docks, Knapford Station and the Search & Rescue Centre, to name a few. Cranky, Harold and Owen all feature as well. It has an all new, special track designed to work with any of your engines, and 4 engines are included in unique scales. In all, the set will hold well over 100 engines and multiple configurations allow for layouts that can fit any space in your home.

Win a Trip to Meet Santa Claus

To coincide with their top toys selection, Smyths Toys and Canterbury Travel are offering one lucky family the chance to meet Santa Claus and all eight of his reindeer in his Arctic homeland in the North Pole. The winner and their family will get to meet Santa Claus in addition to experiencing a host of traditional Arctic activities such as a classic sleigh ride pulled by huskies and reindeer. Visit www.Smythstoys.com for more details on how to enter.

Smyths Toys Superstores cater for all ages and have over 110 stores across the UK and Ireland stocked with a huge range of toys, video games, bikes and baby products, including all the top brands.
