Aromatherapy Oils from Essence of Arcadia

Aromatherapy Oils from Essence of Arcadia

I have always been interested in alternative therapies and firmly believe in the natural approach to your general well-being. One of those approaches is aromatherapy.

One of the biggest issues I find is that many of these natural therapies can be quite costly but, when Essence of Arcadia approached me to see if I would be interested in reviewing some of their products, I was pleasantly surprised at the fact that they offered a set of therapeutic grade oils for a competitive price. You can purchase either a set of 14 Essential Oils at a price of £39.99 or choose a smaller 6 set at £19.99.

The oils are all undiluted, and come in 10ml bottles. They are well presented in a sturdy gift box and you also receive a free manual which gives you a description of each of the oils as well as different recipes – something I would usually get a bit stuck with!

The oils that are included in the set of 14 are:

  • Cinnamon
    • Bergamot
    • Eucalyptus
    • Frankincense
    • Lavender
    • Peppermint
    • Teatree
    • Clary Sage
    • Grapefruit
    • Healing blend
    • Rosemary
    • Lemongrass
    • Ylang Ylang
    • Orange

The box of 6 contains:

I have to say that Bergamot is one of my absolute favourites and I was really pleased to see that there was a recipe for Fatigue Fighter which included this particular oil. All you need is 4 drops of Bergamot, 2 drops of Grapefruit and 1 drop of Peppermint. You can either add it all to a diffuser (reviews for these to follow) or to a warm bath. It really does help you feel refreshed and awake.

Another oil I was pleased to see at this time of the year was the Essence of Arcadia Healing Blend. With all of us fighting colds and generally feeling under the weather in this house, we can use this blend of Tea Tree, eucalyptus, Cinnamon and Ginger in a nice hot bath. I think we should all definitely give this a try.

The oils are fully certified to UK standards and you also gain free access to the Essence of Arcadia VIP club to get more recipes and oil blends.

Don’t forget to add a carrier oil if you want to put them directly onto your skin.

I have to admit that I am really looking forward to continuing with the use of these oils. They are fabulous quality and they are not only going to keep our house smelling gorgeous but they are going to help us all with our general well-being.

As you know, I love holistic therapy Nd firmly believe that it’s the way forward. After I finish my crystal healing course, I fully intend to investigate aromatherapy more and this post has inspired me to do so. So, thank you Vicky! 🙂

Hi Victoria, what a nice review. We do burn essential oils in a tealight burner, but I’m not very clued up on what does what (I know lavender is good for relaxing and lemon and peppermint are good for reviving and that’s about it). The box the Arcadia oils come in is very nice and the fact that it comes with a booklet explaining what oils do wha,t makes it a perfect gift.

    xx

They sound lovely. I’ve actually never used any of this type of thing. I do love the smell of cinnamon, though. Especially at this time of year. #PoCoLo
