How Limescale Affects Our Home. A Post in Conjunction with EWT Water Specialists

EWT HouseAs I explained to you in my post yesterday, we live in a hard water area. Somerset is apparently one of the areas that does suffer from it quite badly and I think it is probably more noticeable as it was not that bad when I lived in Surrey and Berkshire. Today I am going to show you just how limescale affects our home.

Prior to EWT coming round to fit our new Gold Series 606 water softening system, I took a couple of videos of the areas of our home which suffer the most from limescale. These are the bathroom, the kitchen and our iron.  I already use a water softner in our washing machine in order to preserve it’s elements (another expense which I will save as a result of the softener).

Take a look at our video which will hopefully highlight it a bit better.

I shall be recording a video to update you on the difference between this and use of the softener after a few months but, before that, I shall be sharing a video about the installation of Gold Series 606. I am also interested to see how it benefits our skin and hair as well as the washing. I don’t really use any specialist products on my skin so I am keen to see if it makes a difference.

The kind people at EWT Water have agreed to let my readers have a free water test kit to see if you would benefit from a water softener in your home. Simply follow this link and fill in the very easy form.
