Prose for Thought – Are you MAD Enough?
Welcome to this weeks bit of creativity on my blog, otherwise known as the weekly linky, Prose for Thought.
As you may well know by now – and unless you are one of my readers who has been hiding under a rock for the past week – last Friday saw a mass load of bloggers descend on the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington (and yes, it was as posh as it sounds!). And, unless you have never read my blog before, you will know that I was one of the finalists in Most Innovative. So I couldn’t let this momentous event pass without a poem about the evening and, in particular, the winners! I hope you like it.
Are You MAD Enough?
Sally Whittle and her team
Pulled out the stops for 2013
Finalists met at the Royal Garden Hotel
What was to happen? Who could tell?
Dr Ranj announced the winners one by one
Some they spoke and others struck dumb!
First up the blog for Best Pregnancy
The winner? Mummy, Daddy and Me Makes Three
Then on to the category Best Baby, who wins?
A well-deserved Emma who is Crazy With Twins
Best New Blog was up and who would do it?
The Future’s Rosie, yep, I knew it! 🙂
And who is Best at being Thrify
Baby Budgeting is rather nifty!
Family Travel was the next to rave
As Family Adventure Project jumped on stage
Family Life could sometimes be a spot of bother
But not for the Adventures of an Unfit Mother
Being Crafty isn’t really for me
But it certainly was for The Imagination Tree
Food is something on most blogs to be seen
But top of them all is the Frugal Queen
Most Innovative was the category I was in
But Mammasaurus was the one who deserved the win
Outstanding Contribution full of people who inspire
The deserving winner was Jennie Edspire
And Fashion? I keep thinking someday
This year the winner was Style Me Sunday
Family Fun is something that I hold dear
Coombe Mill was the winner of that this year
Best Schooldays? I reminisce with a sigh
Well done to winner But Why Mummy Why
Entertainment for me was a massive guess
And I don’t mean me when saying Goodbye, Pert Breasts!
Capture by Lucy won Best Photography
Take a look at her blog if you want to see
Massive congratulations to Mammywoo
Best Writer AND Blog of the Year, she got two!
So, are you MAD enough to go the distance?
Keep on blogging, put up no resistance
Share the posts and write with care
Who knows? Next year you might be there!
