NaPoWriMo Day 10 – The Songs the Singers Sing
Welcome to Day 10 of NaPoWriMo. I don’t think I have ever had such an outpouring of poetry since…….well…..ever actually! This is 10 in 10 days so far. Today Ross is off to a recording studio to get some tracks down (as they say in the biz!), so today is about songs.
The Songs the Singers Sing
They make you laugh
They make you cry
They make you think
They make you sigh
The songs the singers sing
Take you to another place
Take you to another time
They make you listen
To reason and the rhyme
The songs the singers sing
Holding your attention
A voice rich and deep
Holding your emotion
An angel sounding sweet
The songs the singers sing
