We all love a selfie, right?! Well, our family do anyway! Here is one we took when we were at Soar Mill Cove recently.

With the advent of selfie sticks, we no longer need to do an impression of Mr Tickle or Inspector Gadget – Grace is very excited and looking forward to putting ours into practice whilst we are away.

To celebrate its Choose Happiness campaign, Coca-Cola recently worked with renowned picture agency Getty Images on some research. Asked to click on photographs that made them smile, people were found to be more likely to smile at an image of a cat than at a shot of a dog. Images featuring babies made less people smile than those featuring animals. But a squirrel shot was the one that made most people smile.

As you can see from the image, it is layered with at least five psychological factors that have been proven to have a positive effect on the viewer.

Another image that seems to make us happy is the selfie. An estimated 93 million (study by Google 2014) selfies are taken every day, making them more popular than ever. But capturing the perfect shot isn’t always easy and so Coca-Cola is giving us all helping hand this summer and giving you the chance to win one of up to one million selfie sticks on their special promotional packs.
