Back in the summer of 2015, Ross and I made the difficult decision to opt for IVF treatment via an egg donor. As a result, a series of vlogs and blogs called ‘The Conception Diaries’ were formed.

Our Miscarriages
Ross and I suffered our first miscarriage back in October 2013. It was a shock to us both but affected me pretty badly. As a result my physical and mental health deteriorated. I experienced a frozen shoulder and found it hard for various reasons. I even wrote a number of poems about my feelings.
We dealt with a second miscarriage in December 2014. This time is was a self-aborting ectopic pregnancy and, for some reason, I found that easier to deal with.
Then, our first IVF attempt failed. This came with all the feelings of a miscarriage.
