The Bounty App for Discerning Parents
Twelve years ago, when Grace was just a couple of months old, mobile phones were a ‘thing’ but apps certainly weren’t. If you wanted to find out about the different stages of your baby, you had to go online and do some searching.
Of course, this time around things were a little easier. I have had so much support during my pregnancy and after having had Rex from various apps. There are all kinds of useful resources which are easy to access. One of those I have found especially useful is the Bounty App.

Bounty in their 60th Year
Bounty supported me the first time around. I can remember a representative visiting me in the hospital and I also remember being rather surprised and delighted that I received a pack containing free things for me and my baby! They also had a photographer come round and take some photos of a less than one day old Grace. I am still grateful for those. At the time, there wasn’t really anyone else around with a proper camera and I was certainly in no frame of mind to do it!
The Bounty App was launched in 2017 to meet the needs of today’s parents. I have used it a number of times and I have to say that I love many of the features available.
About the Bounty App
The Bounty App is completely free and it contains lots of useful hospital-specific information, valuable practical information and expert advice all relevant to pregnancy and parenting.
If you are a new parent, this is invaluable. If you are returning to having young children after a gap, it acts as a welcome refresher and updater! It also means that you don’t have a house full of paperwork.
There are plenty of features and these include:
- Free Stuff – the ability to save money by taking advantage of free samples, discount vouchers and exclusive offers
- Today – giving you the exact age of your baby
- Articles – these range from baby sleep support to feeding and weaning to back to work. There is plenty of support for many different aspects of parenting
- My Hospital – a section where you can access information about your local hospital as well as adding your midwife’s details
- a baby sleep tracker
The Bounty App Features I Love
When I first used the app, I was pregnant and I really enjoyed being able to see the size of his foot as it grew.
As Rex has progressed, so has the app. Aside from the fact that, at a glance, I can see exactly how old Rex is, I absolutely love a bargain! I regularly receive emails from Bounty with their latest offers but now I can go straight into the app to find out what the latest is.
For example, at the moment there is a 7 piece toddler bed bundle on there for half price plus exclusive holiday offers from Haven to be snapped up!
The great thing is that parents can redeem vouchers and offers from their Bounty pack through the app too.
Other things to note
- As well as the app, you can still pick up a Bounty pack at Tesco and Asda, which is packed with full-size retail samples from well-known brands.
- The Bounty App doesn’t replace the famous Bounty lady! Bounty Ladies meet almost 60,000 new Mums every month across the UK. They present new mums with the famous “Bounty Newborn Pack”
- Fresh content is added to the app daily, so there’s always something new to discover.
- Articles are related to your current stage of pregnancy or the age of your baby, so you will find the information relevant and practical to your life and your baby’s life.
