Join the Big Little Tent Festival this Easter
*Remunerated Post*
One of the things I loved about this time last year was the outside time we spent as a family. It feels like only yesterday that April turned up and we enjoyed a very balmy Easter in the garden.

The Big Little Tent Festival 2021
Now that the days are getting longer, summer staycations are starting to look like a very inviting option so, it is the perfect time for the Caravan and Motorhome Club’s annual Big Little Tent Festival (BLTF) to be asking would-be campers to try a night under canvas in the comfort of their own gardens and homes. And they are doing that this Easter weekend.

It really is about open air spaces which is what makes The Big Little Tent Festival so topical. It means either pitching a tent in the back garden or because we all know how changeable the British weather is, you could be setting up camp with the kids in a pop up tent inside. There are so many ways to create a unique camping experience before being officially allowed to venture further afield. It is also a great way to make sure all your camping equipment is in order.
What can you expect from the Big Little Tent Festival?

Visiting the website www.camc.com/bltf is a great place to start to get your family a downloadable pack with everything else needed for a fun filled 24 hours (or longer!) for camping at home. The pack includes checklists, games and suggested activities to ensure the adventure is a memorable one. Rex loves colouring, drawing, mazes and joining the dots so there is lots there for him. For Grace, well it has to be the hot chocolate stall – and we all love the look of the Easter trail mix!

The Big Little Tent Festival will also be providing a Zoom party, complete with special guests and entertainment to keep the big and little kids entertained over Easter weekend. You will meet The Mermaid Princess and The Friendly Neighbourhood Hero for games, superhero training, and a campfire song!

Our Plans for The Big Little Tent Festival
Whilst our garden still looks like a building site (we are still trying to find a decent garden who won’t let us down!), we can still have our own camp-out in! Rex has a wonderful rocket ship tent where we will string up some fairy lights, lay out the treats and sit and enjoy a family game together.
