With my birthday tomorrow – a Monday – we decided to pay a visit to the cinema today to celebrate a day early. The film ‘Home’ was what we watched. We all really enjoyed it.
Monday 18th May 2015
My birthday! I had already received money off of Ross to purchase more photography equipment. Grace also gave me a tripod which I was extremely happy with. I was really surprised and touched by this beautiful brooch from my step-dad. He told me that his mum had worn it and that he would like me to have it.
Tuesday 19th May 2015
Lemon meringue doughnuts left over from my birthday. They had to be eaten…right?!

With all the over-indulgence it was good to get back to something healthy. This green soup is one of my favourites.
Thursday 21st May 2015
More food! But still healthy. Today we received a delivery from RR Spink. This was their smoked trout – it was utterly gorgeous.
Friday 22nd May 2015
Today was inset day for Grace and, despite the fact that Ross and I had to work, Grace kept herself amused until late afternoon when I finished up, I made some lemonade and we played some rock band together.

We all sat down together to watch Eurovision with a meal of pulled pork – delicious!
