Lucuma & Chocolate Superfood Pudding Recipe #GlutenFree #SugarFree #DairyFree

I was rather chuffed to be made an Indigo Herbs Ambassador recently. I have used a number of their ingredients in my recipes and I really love what they stand for in respect of the fact that their products are organic and their aim is to offer the finest natural health products at affordable prices. Indigo Herbs is based in the “Alternative Lifestyle” capitol – Glastonbury, Somerset, UK.

I have previously shared a recipe for gluten free reindeer biscuits as well as one for raw cacao, goji berry and baobab chocolate bark which I found fairly straightforward to come up with, however, when they sent me some lucuma powder I have to admit to being a little bit stumped!

One of the things I miss since cutting a majority of refined sugar and dairy out of my diet is basically anything chocolate! But, chocolate does not have to be bad for you if it is in raw form and when it is combined with some other superfoods.

When I came up with this pudding, I let Grace try one as well and I have to say that these have quickly become one of our favourite treats. It really does feel like you are eating some sort of decadent mousse from a restaurant!

  2. I’ve never heard of Lucuma powder before but sounds like the caramel flavour would work lovely in a chocolate pudding. #freefromfridays

  3. I love lucuma powder! It’s almost caramel-ly – I can just imagine how delicious this pudding is 🙂 if only I lived in the UK so I could enter your giveaway!

  4. i had never heard of lucuma powder before. I will take a closer look at indigo herbs next time i put an online order in for the types of foods i have been trying out lately – also in an attempt to reduced refined sugar. Recently discovered palmyra jaggery which is great as far lower gi than sugar but still gives sweetness to recipes.

    1. I hadn’t until Indigo sent it to me. It is fab! I have heard of what you mentioned either – I will have to look into this 🙂 x
