Handmade Homeware from FoxSea Art
* I received a piece from FoxSeaArt but was not obliged to write this post*

It is amazing to see what effect the lockdown has had on so many people. Re-evaluation has been a major factor and well-used word in 2020. Included in that is Tabitha Osborne-Fox, who has combined her love of the sea and artistic talents by launching a new business, FoxSea Art, following COVID-19’s impact on her previous job.
Forming FoxSea Art
Tabitha launched FoxSea Art in May this year when she found that she was unemployed due to the pandemic and you can find all of her products on her Etsy shop.
Tabitha, 29, who was previously a British bodyboarding champion and competitive surfer, never thought that she could turn this passion into a viable business but she was able to reconnect with her love of the coast, and decided to bring a premium collection of art, homeware and interior products to sea lovers all over the country.
She has spent the summer crafting a new skill, to perfect her resin-based designs and has showcased her products at Croyde Market, Barnstaple Pannier Market and London’s iconic Portobello Market, to name a few.

Tabitha Osborne-Fox, owner and designer at FoxSea Art, said:
“I’m proud that I’ve been able to turn the negative impacts of COVID-19 into a positive business, and one that is continuing to grow.
It’s been a bit of a rollercoaster this year – for myself and a lot of people – but I’ve always been a big believer in following your passion, and that’s exactly what I’m doing. I’ve split my time between Devon and London for the last few years, but the pandemic has reinforced that my heart lies in Devon.
Going from a busy consultancy job in London to practically nothing overnight really put things into perspective for me and I can’t wait to see how far I can take FoxSea Art in the future.”

My Thoughts
Tabitha sent me a custom-made chopping board and I have to say that the quality is stunning. It is beautifully put together and comes with full instructions on how to clean it.

Her best sellers are coasters and bamboo serving platters and it is easy to see why. Custom art and resin wave tables are also popular with her and I totally recommend checking these out.
It is more important than ever to promote small businesses. They take so much care over what they do and the quality of Tabitha’s work is up there with the best of them.
