Going Back to School in Style with Hogwarts

The day is almost here. The day which many children have been anticipating for 6 long months (who would have thought we would have been saying that a year ago?!). It is back to school for so many children after a long period at home – with many parents suddenly finding themselves have to use their home schooling powers! If only they could have done it in style with Hogwarts help, and the many spells on offer. But lets forget all that!

Now, Hogwarts have give the parents some superpowers in the form of some great back to school items. Quite fitting really as today, the 1st September at 11am, the Hogwarts Express leaves Platform 9 ¾ at Kings Cross Station. It will make it’s way to Hogsmeade Station ready for the start of a new term. But do the witches and wizards in making have all they need?

The whole Harry Potter World is bigger than ever and they have come up with some fantastic items to make the return to school a little more stylish and exciting – together with things to look forward to when they come home.

Harry Potter LEGO Sets

For some after-school play to look forward to, how about these Harry Potter LEGO sets?

First up, you can put together your very own Hedwig. Suitable for older children at aged 10+, this is a real challenge to keep them busy. The result though is totally worth it. Harry Potter Magical Capsules

We loved these cute little Harry Potter Magical Capsules. There are 10 to collect in this first series including a mystery figure.

Each of the capsules is a bronze Hogwarts crest and contains one iconic character from the Harry Potter stories. Each bronze Hogwarts Crest contains a character, a pet, a wand, two accessories and two clues. Compartment 1 reveals a crest and by using the heat of your thumb you can find out what house your character belongs to. Compartment 2 reveals a spell. You have to dip your spell into water to reveal which one you have. Finally, in the last compartment, there are four creatively wrapped parcels.

We were rather excited to get Harry Potter himself!
