A Review of the BubbleBum Travel Car Booster Seat PLUS GIVEAWAY
After my first flight with a baby to Spain recently, it has brought home to me just how important it is to have items which travel well and make your life easier. We were able to take two free items on the plane for Rex so we opted for a pushchair and a travel cot. We added on a car seat when we booked a hire car. However, when Rex is older we will need to look at another option.

The BubbleBum Travel Car Booster Seat
The BubbleBum Travel Car Booster Seat is portable, lightweight, inflatable and deflatable. It is suitable for children aged between 4 – 11 years old and easily deflates and packs away in its own bag. A complete godsend if you need to ensure that you travel light. It also saves money on hiring a seat from the car rental company.
Established since 2009 and retailing in 26 countries, selling in all Halford Stores nationwide, the BubbleBum is also perfect for taxi rides and you can even fit three in a row, even in a small car.

Inflating and Deflating the BubbleBum Booster Seat
Inflating the BubbleBum is an easy and straightforward exercise. There is a valve on the side of the seat which you twist. This opens the vent in order for you to blow the air into. It only takes a few puffs to become fully inflated. Once done, you screw the air valve back to close it.

Once inflated, the seat feels really comfy. Grace is a bit big for booster seats now but she tested it out for me and can endorse that! It is extremely light in weight and much smaller than a standard booster seat making it very easy to travel with.

Deflating the BubbleBum booster seat is also really simple. You open the valve and squeeze the air out. The seat then rolls up and fits back into it’s elasticated carry bag.
Installing the BubbleBum Booster Seat into a Car
Installation is another simple task. The seat belt passes through the two red clips on either side of the BubbleBum and then there is a shoulder positioning strap which hooks onto the bottom of the seat and then connects to the shoulder strap of the seat belt to hold it in the correct position. This means it adjusts to suit the height of your child.

You can see how to do this in Bubblebum’s video below:
Storing the BubbleBum Booster Seat
Storage is extremely easy. The booster seat comes with it’s own storage bag and it fits neatly into even the tightest spaces. Ours is in the boot under the cover, next to our spare tyre so it takes up no storage room whatsoever.

My Thoughts
The BubbleBum Travel Booster Car Seat is a fantastic product – especially for travel. It is extremely light, very easy to use and looks stylish.
Although we can’t use it now, it will certainly be a product we put away and use when Rex is old enough.
