I am certain that since lockdown began, any shops with a strong online presence have done extremely well indeed. I know that boxes have been regularly delivered to our house. Although, trying to do our food shop online became rather tricky as slots filled up quickly.
So, what are the great reasons to shop online? There are loads of benefits and here are 5 which you may not have considered!

A different kind of queue!
How often have you had to queue up? Especially over the past few months. I can remember visiting the Supermarket early on and, what should have been a 1 hour job turned into 3 plus!
Yes, there have been online virtual queues – but at least I can grab a drink and a snack and listen to my music (or scroll through Facebook) whilst I wait.

One of the things that you can do in advance is check out the reviews. Not just the products from a fellow customers point of view, but also the store itself. This is something you cannot see when you pay an in-person visit. There won’t be pages and pages of reviews stuck onto the shelf.
Companies such as Oxford Online Pharmacy have plenty of honest Trust Pilot reviews. As well as this, all they have a great CQC rating and all of their credentials can be found in the footer on their website. Something you cannot see on the High Street as easily.
Carry the load
One of the things that has started to affect me over lockdown has been my shoulder. 5 years ago I suffered from a frozen shoulder to my left side. Now, it seems it is going the same way on my right so, the last thing I want to be doing is carrying stuff around. Thankfully, the delivery drivers do this for me at the moment!

I have forgotten many a birthday over lockdown, so shopping online has made it easy to send items direct to my family. Simply have a quick look, make your purchase and get your gift delivered direct to their door next day. Either that, or get a voucher delivered – which makes it eco-friendly as well as easy!
Any Time, Any Place, Any Where
It is extremely convenient to be able to sit down and shop at your leisure. Whether it be a Wednesday evening or the early hours of a Sunday, online shopping is always open for business. Plus, visiting a virtual Supermarket and adding to a delivery over the week means that you are less likely to forget things (unless you have a brain like mine at the moment!).
