Best There’s Been. A Poem
Best There’s Been
I’ve stopped wondering what’s in store
Around the corner, through the next door
I’ve started now to go with the flow
Because, really, you just never know
I’m done with the guessing
The fussing and worry
I’m taking it calmly
Without all the hurry
Getting rid of what I don’t need
All of this I will concede
No need for clutter or disarray
A tidy house is a tidy mind they say
I wonder if nesting is kicking in?
Ready for the next new life to begin
What I do know is we need a better routine
Let’s make this one the best there’s been!

Love this poem – so full of positivity and optimism as you move into 2017 and the next big adventure. I like the sound of nesting kicking in already. Hope that 2017 really will be “the best there’s been” for you x #Prose4T
Thank you so much Louise – it is great to write poems again which are happier! I found last year hard x
